    Usage

    A small needle is used to inject JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC into the cheek area, creating a temporary correction to lost volume and leading to a younger, smoother skin surface.

    JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC injectable gel is colorless & made up of hyaluronic acid (HA) and lidocaine. HA is a natural sugar present in the body, working to deliver nutrients and maintain the skin's moisture & softness. VYCROSS™ technology creates a specialized gel that creates a long-lasting effect after injection. When given in the cheek area of the mid-face, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC restores volume and fullness, with lidocaine aiding in comfort.

    How long does JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC last?

    JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC delivers natural-looking results that can last up to 24 months with optimal treatment.

    What are the potential side effects of JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC?

    The most common side effects included temporary reactions at the injection site such as swelling, tenderness, firmness, bruising, redness, lumps/bumps, discoloration, pain, and itching. Generally, these effects were classified as moderate and disappeared within 2-4 weeks. As with any skin injection, there is a risk of infection.

    How does JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC work?

    Through the natural aging process, wrinkles begin to appear and nasolabial folds become more pronounced on the face. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is designed to temporarily add volume to facial areas, creating a smoother appearance. The lidocaine content helps reduce discomfort during the injection process.

     

    What precautions should my doctor advise me about?

    • Inform your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or nursing; safety of JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC has not been established in such cases.
    • The safety of JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC in those younger than 35 and older than 65, of JUVÉDERM® XC and JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC in those under 18, and of JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC and JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC in those younger than 22 has not been assessed.
    • The safety and effectiveness of JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC outside of the cheek area, JUVÉDERM® XC and JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC outside of facial wrinkles and folds, and JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC and JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC outside the lips and perioral area have not been scientifically proven.
    • Inform your physician of any previous cases of exaggerated scarring (e.g. hypertrophic scarring or keloid scarring) or pigmentation disorders before using JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC, as this may cause added scars or alterations in pigmentation.
    • Inform your physician if you intend to have other laser therapies or chemical peels, as there is potential for inflammation at the injection site should these treatments be done after JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC.
    • Those who have endured skin trauma close to the injection site may be exposed to an increased risk of adverse effects when using JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC.
    • Inform your physician if you are undergoing immunosuppressive therapy, which lowers the body's immune system, as use of these products could elevate the likelihood of infection.
    • Inform your physician if you are taking drugs which can prolong bleeding, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other anticoagulants, as this could lead to raised discoloration or bleeding at the point of injection.
    • For 24 hours after treatment, avoid strenuous physical activity, spending long periods in direct sunlight or extreme heat, and drinking alcohol.

    What are possible side effects?
    Injectable gels of JUVÉDERM® may cause injection-site redness, swelling, pain, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, discoloration, itching, and dryness with JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC. Side effects commonly reported with JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC were usually moderate and lasted up to two to four weeks. JUVÉDERM® XC, JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC, and JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC injectable gels typically caused mild to moderate effects, which usually disappeared in 14 days or fewer. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC side effects were generally mild to moderate with a duration of 30 days or less.
    One of the risks with using these products is unintentional injection into a blood vessel, and while rare, the complications can be serious and may be permanent. These complications, which have been reported for facial injections, can include vision abnormalities, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs, or permanent scarring.

    As is the case with all injectable treatments, a risk of infection exists.

    Returns Policy

    You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

    You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
