    The Selphyl® System is designed for efficient preparation of Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) from a small sample of blood directly at the point of care, without requiring operator skill. Its advanced technology eliminates a majority of red blood cells and white blood cells, providing a more accurate concentration of PRP cells. Cellular conversion of PRP to Platelet-rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) is further facilitated, creating a protective layer to preserve the platelets.

    Physicians often utilize PRP treatments for their variety of applications. The process is uncomplicated and the whole procedure takes around 30 minutes. Although results may be attained after a single session, multiple visits are usually suggested. Your doctor will craft a personalised plan to best meet your needs.

    PRP is made of platelets and other components of human blood which contain a variety of growth factors which can kickstart the body's natural healing abilities. Platelets are concentrated at the site of injury and can facilitate better healing and a more rapid response to treatment.

    THE SELPHYL® PROCESS

    • In roughly half an hour, a doctor draws a few milliliters of the patient's blood into a specialized vial with a gel-like substance designed to separate the cells.
    • A centrifuge is used to spin the tube for six minutes, which separates the blood into a platelet-rich suspension of plasma and other particles.
    • The red and white blood cells are situated beneath the cell separator gel.
    • Plasma and platelets are transferred through a sealed system into a second cylinder that contains a minute calcium chloride solution.
    • Fibrin polymerization starts and PRP stays in a liquid state for roughly 10 minutes prior to forming PRFM.
    The PRFM created from the patient's own cells is prepared for use according to clinical necessity.

    WHAT IS PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP)?

     PRP is defined as a plasma containing concentrated platelets, typically double the amount found in whole blood. It does not include RBC or WBC. While some kits falsely advertise higher platelet counts by including those cells, this would be counterproductive; RBC and WBC tend to have inflammatory and catabolic effects. To identify a pure PRP solution, look for a straw-colored, golden hue; if it is pinkish or reddish, RBC contamination is likely present.

    HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?

    The entire process of PRP Hair Regrowth takes around 30 minutes to be completed in a medical facility.

    HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?

    The number of treatments necessary is contingent on patient-specific factors, the outcomes desired, and the plan prescribed by the physician.

    IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

    Selphyl® PRFM has a pH level that closely resembles normal bodily pH, unlike other solutions with acidic pH. Injections of the product may cause temporary discomfort and can result in redness and bruising, as with any injection procedure, but these side effects generally dissipate quickly.

    ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

    No adverse side effects of Selphyl® have been reported to date. As is common with injectable treatments, some patients may temporarily experience irritation, swelling, bruising, itching, discoloration, or tenderness around the injection area.

    CAN ANYONE BE ALLERGIC TO SELPHYL®?

    PRFM collected and isolated using the Selphyl® PRFM System is completely derived from a patient's own cells, eliminating the risk of any allergic reactions. No animal or synthetic products are used.

    Returns Policy

    You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

    You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
