    Restylane-L® is a transparent injectable gel comprising hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body. To help form a long-lasting gel filler, hyaluronic acid in Restylane-L is crosslinked with BDDE. Additionally, Restylane-L is both nonanimal and free from animal proteins, and allergy testing is not required. Moreover, 0.3% lidocaine is included in Restylane-L to ease treatment discomfort.

    Indicated uses: Doctors may inject Restylane® and Restylane-L® into the facial tissue for treating moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Those over the age of 21 may also be injected with the products in the lips.

    Mild side effects, like swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache, tenderness, lump formation, and itching at the injection site, are the most frequently observed after Restylane-L® injections. These usually dissipate within 7 days when administered in the nasolabial folds, or 14 days when used to augment lips. Rare but serious infections, herpetic eruptions, and superficial necrosis may occur but are rare.

    The risk of unintended injection into a blood vessel when using this product is very low; however, if this occurs, serious and potentially permanent complications can occur. Reported facial injection related complications are vision abnormalities, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs, or lasting skin scarring.

    As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.

    Restylane is available only through a licensed practitioner.

    Restylane-L is a pH-neutral gel composed of hyaluronic acid generated by a Streptococcus species of bacteria, crosslinked with BDDE, paired with lidocaine (0.3%) and suspended in phosphate-buffered saline at a 20 mg/mL concentration.

    What is Restylane-L?

    Restylane-L® is a transparent injectable gel composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally present in the body.     How does Restylane-L work?

    Restylane-L is administered through an ultrafine needle to reduce the look of wrinkles and creases, like nasolabial folds, or to fill out the lips of patients aged 21 and over.

    Why add Lidocaine to Restylane?

    In a clinical study of 60 patients, Restylane-L® containing lidocaine reduced injection pain and discomfort in comparison to Restylane®. At the time of injection, patients rated their pain on a scale of 0-100, with 45 on the Restylane side versus 15 on the Restylane-L side. This pain reduction remained up to 60 minutes after treatment.

    How long does Restylane-L last?
    Restylane-L effects generally last about six months and gradually disappear from the body.

    Who should not use Restylane-L (Contraindications)?
    Safety has yet to be confirmed and should not be employed in individuals who are: expecting a baby, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, below age 22 for lip augmentation, under 18 or over 65 years old, highly sensitive (e.g. gram-positive bacteria), or have a history of bleeding disorders.

    You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

    You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
